Swimming

Summertime is here...
I feel terrible that I haven't updated since the Regional at Cal State Fullerton. I am sure all of you know the outcome. Many of you got to watch the games since they were televised. Given the tough road that the Cavs had to take, they played great. It came to an end a little quicker than we would have liked for it to, but they have so much to be proud of. They had a good season overall and really beat the odds in so many ways. Seven (I think) players were selected in the Major League draft.
He went to his friend Amelia's first birthday party
on Saturday. He really had a good time. Ms. Melissa,
from the dance studio where I sometimes teach, did a Kindermusik session for the babies. Of course, Kason is familiar with that and showed them how it's done.
He starts swimming lessons tomorrow, so I am sure there will be more pictures to come.
Kason has been spending a lot of his time driving me up a wall. He has learned to crawl and has it down good. He goes wherever he wants and finds all of the places he shouldn't. He has a special affinity for electrical cords and sockets, plastic bags, tissue boxes, and the vacuum cleaner. He has succeeded at unloading the entire bottom shelf in his closet and pulling all of the bins out from under his changing table. We are really in for it, I am afraid. He also LOVES balls, blocks, and playing in his pool. Here are a few pictures of him in his pool. I tried to include two short videos, but I can't seem to get them to upload. The first one was of him dunking his basketball in his basketball goal - pretty impressive for 26.5 inches, huh?? I feel sure that his basketball days are over as soon as he outgrows his little goal! The other video is of him crawling and a nice wave. He is very outgoing. Oh and we went to the Dr. last week for his 9 month appt. and he now weighs 18 lbs. and 11oz. He is packing on the pounds!
