more stuff

We had a great night out with some friends for New Years - dinner and dancing at Keswick, while Kason got to stay at home with Nanna!

Karl's Step Up to the Plate dinner was Sat. night (Jan. 26). This is the Virginia Baseball team's dinner to kick off the opening of the season. It was a great event. Terry Francona was the guest speaker. As usual, I had to have my picture made with him! And being the sucker that I am for major league baseball, here is also a picture of me with two of my favorite current Major Leaguers (Ryan Zimmerman-Nationals, Javy Lopez-Red Sox). Can you blame me??? We had a really fun time with everyone after the dinner. Thanks for keeping Kason, Lauren!

A lot of catching up to do!!!

I am so far behind. Somehow I knew blogging wasn't going to be my thing. I am going to try to do a little catching up for Miss Bonnie's sake! I got the message that she isn't to happy with my lack of postings! I tried to update this weekend, but my computer at home wasn't cooperating. I am using my computer at work today, but I don't have all the pictures with me that I need. I will post more later about Nanna's and Brenda's visit and Mommy and Daddy's New Years:)

Kason started daycare at First Steps Infant Development Center on January 7th. He is pictured here with his teacher Ms. Zackia. Kason really loves it there, although his mom is having a terrible time with the adjustment!

Kason had a lot to say the morning of his second day of school. I am sorry that you have to turn your head sideways to see the video. I have no idea how to turn it:)

The new year has brought lots of new to our house. Kason started eating cereal a couple of weeks ago. He has decided that his feet are the coolest thing ever. And he got a new excersaucer (Thanks, OConnor's!). They have the same one at his school and his teachers laugh at him because he can't reach the ground, but he plays in it like the "big kids." (They have theirs on the second level. Ours in on the lowest.)

We got about 3 1/2 inches of snow last Thursday. I took Kason out to take his picture in it. We were only outside for 20 seconds! Later he went out with me to salt the driveway. For those of you who already saw this picture and wondered where his shoes and mittens were, this is how he looked when we went out for 20 mintes!!!

Who needs a pack-n-play? I was putting some things away the other day and set him down in this tote for a minute. He thought it was great. He could sit up and reach all of his toys!
